The Last Waltz -Forever young-

The Last Waltz ( A ultima valsa) foi o concerto, dado pelo grupo de rock canadiano The Band, no dia de acções de graça, 25 de Novembro de 1976 no Winterland Ballroom em San Francisco. The Last Waltz foi anunciado como sendo o ultimo espectáculo da ilustre carreira do grupo The Band. Para este espectáculo o grupo convidou muitos amigos para actuar com ele como Paul Butterfield, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Ronnie Hawkins, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Wood e Neil Young.

O evento foi filmado por Martin Scorsese e em 1978 pode ser visto em qualquer sala de cinema.

The Last Waltz é tido como um dos melhores filmes de concertos de sempre.
